                                         Kinder Kennedy

Every day for the past week you have heard Kline talk about the kinder Kennedy challenge
on the announcements or in the hall way, but is it doing much?
I my self have not done any of the daily challenges for the kinder Kennedy challenge, and my friends have not done any as well. I mean I guess I've seen one of my friends participate in one of the challenges, he walked over to another one of my friends on pick up trash day and picked him up and said, "hey guys I'm just picking up trash for today." But I wouldn't  say that is very kind.  As I walk the halls of Kennedy I don't really notice many people doing the challenges, such as the pick up trash challenge I still see some wrappers or chip bags on the floor. The most common one I saw was the high five challenge all day I saw smiles and high fives. But high fives are common everyday a Kennedy so it wasn't really a big challenge for any one.
Multiple people when asked if they received a letter of kindness for one of the challenges they say they did not receive any thing. And they say they didn't write any to anyone.
So from what you've heard and seen is this challenge making Kennedy Kinder?

  1. I think you wrote this news article too much from your perspective, and not from an outsiders perspective. I would have liked this to be more about what the challenges were, and what Kinder Kennedy is about.

  2. I think this could have been elaborated a bit more. It was a very interesting topic to cover but I noticed it was sort of all from your perspective. Maybe you could have spoke to at least on person who was participating in the challenge?

  3. I think you could have explained what the Kinder Kennedy challenge was a little better. We all know what it is, but what if someone else read your blog? Also, I don't really feel like you talked to anyone that actually participated or helped organize it, which would have made it much better. I just feel like this was a very negative article about a positive thing in our school.

  4. You kind of shed a negative light about something that should be positive. You didn't have much detail could have easily found considering this is a pretty well known topic at KHS. It seems like this was only your perspective. There were also a few grammar/spelling errors that could be fixed. Good topic though.

  5. I like this but I think Mr. Kline did this for a fun activity. You made some good points in this because not alot of people do this.

  6. I agree with Lina...I feel as if you are trying to discourage us from doing it. Like there is no point in doing this at all. Maybe showing the more positive light on it instead of the negative people would take it a different way.

  7. This article is built on anecdotal evidence. It's an easy trap to fall into, but not a good one at all. I'd recommend restructuring your article and extending it to describe Kinder Kennedy more, instead of the way it currently is.

  8. This article seems one sided and is more opinion than news, if you had brought in more angles instead of "I saw" it would have made a good news article.

  9. I agree with Sam, maybe try to show what more than one person thinks about kinder kennedy and maybe propose some ways so kids take it more seriously it would sound less opinionated.
